Hi, I’m Julia corlett.

I grew up in Los Angeles, but around my Saturn Return, I started to have a lot of questions about why I was there. I worked at an architecture firm that was six miles away from my apartment, but it took me more than an hour to get home every night. Then I’d have to circle the block several times, praying for a parking spot to open up. On Friday nights I would take a Xanax and walk up to the local Thai Massage parlor for a cheap massage. I was checked out. The only reason I stayed was because my family lived in LA and I felt an obligation to be close. But it reached critical mass; I was deeply unhappy and I knew I could no longer live that way.

I took a two week road trip, driving through Utah, Colorado, and New Mexico. My soul was ready to dive into those rugged landscapes. My soul deeply yearned to be out of the city, living more harmoniously with the natural world. My soul asked me to live by the lunar cycle instead of in an office never knowing what phase the moon was in.

Not even a month later, I manifested a job in Colorado. My friends and family all thought I had gone mad. Within two weeks, my little Mercedes SLK 230 was packed and ready to make the move to a ranch in Southern Colorado, and I left LA forever.

Over the next many years I stumbled around doing what I could to make sure I could sustain my newly beloved lifestyle. I turned another passion of mine, cooking, into a career. I worked as a private chef and caterer for years until the burnout made it impossible for me to feed myself or my partner. Once again I felt the deep need for a shift into a sustainable lifestyle. This is where Young Living came in - in perfect timing and perfect alignment.

After finding Young Living, my whole existence shifted in a hugely beneficial way. I spent a year developing a relationship with these oils, and then I felt comfortable *enough* sharing them with others. I was by no means an expert, but I knew I had stumbled across something magical that I wanted to share with the world. It has been a personal growth journey as well as many other things. But ultimately now I am working towards the life that I know I want to cultivate - gathering people in community and ceremony, living more harmoniously with our Mother Earth, and making a living while doing it.

Thank you for being on this journey with me.
